This is a first call for papers for the 3rd European Conference on Social Media ECSM 2016 being hosted by EM Normandie, Caen, France on the 12-13 July 2016.
This call will close on the 3rd December 2015.
There is no doubt, social media have and will have a huge impact on our societies …With social media, a stranger can become a friend or a cyberbully in one click; a nobody can become a star … even what we think true might just be the last buzz. No sphere of our life (education, government, businesses…) is spared. Connected yes … but connected to what, to whom, for what and what might happen if you are not connected.
To reflect on practices and to find answers to questions related to social media, the Third European Conference, as the previous ones, seeks to establish a platform where interested parties (scholars, practitioners…) can share and learn.
