COPE is an EU initiative with the aim of developing a multilingual Massive Open Online Course (MOOC) to train and familiarize journalism students with issues related to EU institutions and policy-making processes.

For these purposes, COPE had brought together 7 university institutions across Europe that collaborated with the European Journalism Training Association (EJTA) to translate MOOC in several EU languages so as to train young journalists. During the implementation of the project, a total of 14 sections were created to help journalism students understand the constitution of EU and the complex dimensions of EU cohesion policy.
